" I AM FREE " : leaving the prisons of our past to live on purpose: a study on the book of Galatians.

Freedom is the state of being free from undesirable controls, or restrictions and especially from the state of bondage or slavery. God sets his people free to live in covenant relationship with him. God’s people are set free in order that they might serve him. We see this thread all through scripture:

  1. God sets his people free to be his own.

  2. God sets his people free to serve him.

  3. God sets his people free to praise him.

  4. God sets his people free to be holy.

  5. God sets his people free to receive his promised gifts.

  6. Jesus Christ sets us free from the penalty of sin.

  7. Jesus Christ sets us free from the spiritual death that accompanies sin.

  8. Jesus Christ sets us free from the fear of death. 9Jesus

  9. Christ sets us free from the power of sin.

  10. Jesus Christ sets us free from the pollution of sin.

  11. Jesus Christ sets us free from the power of Satan.

  12. Jesus Christ sets us free from the presence of sin.

Through this bible study, we will learn how Christ freed us from the following 5 prisons:
